Suzy was a prostitute working for Clyde Forrester's Saloon, who knew Billy Mendoza when they were children and apparently long after.
After William's unsuccessful attempt to locate the legendary Gold of Juarez, he returned to Hope and was forced to give up his only weapon to the sheriff. Billy knew she carried a small Ladies Gun and decided to take it for himself, which took quite an effort but his endeavor was successful nonetheless. It is unknown where she went after Ray McCall burnt down the saloon and killed Clyde.
