Sergeant O'Donnell was a Confederate soldier under direct command of Colonel Barnsby. After the majoity of their unit and other soldiers refusing to accept defeat fled, O'Donnell became the Colonel's right hand man.
Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood
Sergeant O' Donnell was first seen planning with Barnsby during a battle between Union and Confederate forces by the Chattahoochee River. After Ray and Thomas fight off the Union forces he delivers then orders to go back with Barnsby to Jonesboro to reinforce their supply lines. The brothers realize that their family is nearby, and could be attack by Yankees. O'Donnell threatens them that if they disobey they will be considered deserters. The brothers pull out their guns and force him to leave. After the war, O'Donnell stayed with Barnsby to continue attacking Union forces.
Two years later they capture the McCall brothers and interrogate them about a supply of rifles until William gives up the information. The brothers escape with Barnsby following them.
The brothers head to a ghost settlement to resuce Apache Seeing Farther. O'Donnell taunts them while they are making their way to Barnsby. When they reach the remains of the Inferno Saloon, O'Donnell challenges one of them to a duel. Little do the brothers know, a Confederate sharpshooter was hiding on the roof. However, Apache Chief kills the soldiers and O'Donnell is shot dead.
Appearance
O'Donnell was a a portly man in his forties. He wore a typical Confederate uniform, and had a large blonde beard and hair that was slicked back, along with a prominent nose.
Personality
O'Donnell was a ruthless man who didn't hesitate to cheat his way out of confrontation, seen when he ordered a soldier to assassinate the McCalls after he requested a duel in the street.
