Mk. 2 Hand Grenade

The Mk 2 Hand Grenade, referred to as Grenade, is an explosive featured in Call of Juarez: The Cartel.

The Mk 2 hand grenade was designed as an improved version of the Mk 1 hand grenade. It was commonly known as a "pineapple" grenade due to its shape. TNT was usually used as a filling, although EC blank fire powder was also used. EC powder fragmented the grenade in adequate amounts, and also removed the need for a detonator. The Mk 2 was also used as ammunition for a rifle-mounted grenade launcher (the M7 grenade launcher).

Call of Juarez: The CartelEdit

The Mk 2 hand grenade appears throughout the game used by various enemies. However, it isn't used against the player in every level, although some enemies will drop it. As with dynamite in Call of Juarez, the player can only carry five grenades at one time. Also, if the player chooses the alternate ending, Antonio Alvarez will throw a grenade on the floor, and escapes in the panic.
