The Taurus Raging Bull was produced in large calibers for hunters. The Raging Bull has been used to hunt animals as large as Cape Buffalo or elephants. The Raging Bull has a thumb-ported barrel and a red rubber strip on the grip which cushions the shooter's hand and lowers recoil. The Raging Bull also has a manually operated front cylinder latch which are required for large-caliber revolvers. The latch is simpler, and less expensive than latches on other high-powered revolvers, but requires two hands to open it.
Call of Juarez: The CartelEdit
The Bull is first used by Araña gangsters guarding Jesús Mendoza at the El Dorado nightclub. The Bull and PPC together become the dominant revolvers in the middle and late part of the game. It is unlocked by achieving level 10 in the Secret Agenda.
- Araña gangsters
- Vatos Locos gangsters
- Mendoza Cartel members
- The Bull's ingame model oddly lacks the red rubber strip (or it was painted black). Also, if standing against a wall, one can see "RAGING BULL" on the left side of the barrel.
- The Raging Bull together with the Eagle, AS-12 and Beretta 92FS could be a reference to Dead Island, another game by Techland as they also appear in the game.
